Perfect Little Town:
I really like this story and the point you're making. It's fresh but very real and true. Good job. This song and your lyric idea, in particular, has a ton of potential to translate into a memorable video clip. Keep up these emotional ideas. With this somewhat political subject matter it's hard to know how this song will be perceived by the artists but I find the melody solid, the lyric compelling and emotional (and there's that potential to translate to a cool clip like I mentioned above) so I'm gonna take a chance on this song and forward it, Liz. Good luck!

Dear Liz, Absolutely beautiful. I was pulled right into your song from the first note of your melody and your intimate performance. Good work. A beautiful piano-vocal ballad.

Sooner or Later, Jesus Will: A very emotionally appealing song.Strong lyric imagery, that will engage the listener.Vox are very expressive. "Sooner or Later Jesus Will" is a very powerful promise of his Faithful walk with us.I like the piano parts that you composed for the song.....Strong song ending.....
Perfect Little Town: I like the piano intro theme, and it's use throughout the song. The song title as a tag in each verse is a good idea, and does well to tie in the lyric story line. Vivid lyric imagery....that could make for a very powerful video. Chorus hook is strong, and the bridge is very dynamic.....
A Real Father: Very plaintive melody line.Wonderful music support, fine string arrangements. The melody line that starts with"And I'm." is very engaging. Hard to hold back the tears in this song. Very expressive vox performance that sends an emotional chill up the spine. A very special song that inspires the hope, that the We in all of us, Can Be Reconciled no matter the estrangement,no matter the doubt....

An excellent recording all the way around. From the very first notes played by the instr. and sung by the artist. Like the vocal delivery, pitch is great, right in the pocket and appropriate for the style. Lyrics are compelling, make me want to listen all the way through. Well crafted. Production is well thought out and executed.
overall the best song I have had the pleasure of reviewing on Broadjam. Bravo to you!! We can never have these questions asked too often. It sounds like the artist is young and appealing to a young audience. But it also holds something for a 38 year old like myself.

Liz is the consummate artist - her talent is obvious, and she infuses her music with the passion that comes from clear purpose and life experience. This is one artist whose music, talent, and message should definitely be shared with the world!

You have a great gift, Liz. This song is a tear-jerker -- the woman seems to have been abandoned by her father, though it is admittedly indefinite about whether that would have been as a child or as an adult, or who actually abandoned whom. It's a poignant story. It certainly is lovely and assured.

Wow. What a beautifully expressive presentation. Good melody, that haunts the listener. Your vocals are expressive and I very much enjoyed being drawn into the song. Lyrically you have covered a topic that can often be heavy handed in a light, yet still emotionally deep and vulnerable way. Fresh approach. Great job overall.

Strong melodies through out. The chorus is really powerful, well done there. Lyrics are clear and phrased in fresh ways, even though dealing with a topic that has been written about many times. Well done. I love the line "Be the melody as I sing in the company of angels". Your heart for the Lord comes clearly through in this song.

Sweet melody lines that work well for the content of the song lyrically. Really tugging at the appropriate heart strings. Lyrics are so strong and really clear. A fresh way of approaching a topic that not only has been done before, but is also a tough one to approach. I love the second half of the first verse, "I never knew, time wasted without you, would haunt me". What a powerful line and thought. I also love the progression you take through the song. Well done.
